However, this is simply not what’s in the best interest of our health. Most processed food—food in boxes, bags, cans and jars—almost always contains added salt, sugar and fat, as well as harmful chemical additives. Many scientists believe that these tiny amounts of chemicals add up over the years, resulting in cancer for many of us.

If you are someone who likes to have dinner done in 5 minutes or less, yet still want to switch to a healthy vegan diet, it is to your advantage to commit a little more time to your kitchen. You don’t need to spend hours slaving over the stove or growing your own organic garden, but cooking healthy food means cooking fresh food, so you will need to cook from time to time.
